Denis LeBlanc, 66, of Pré-d'en-Haut, died Wednesday night at the Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Born at Cormier Cove, he was a son of the late Napoléon and Rosanne (Gautreau) LeBlanc. He was a member of the Pré-d'en-Haut Golden Age Club, and was a carpenter by trade.

He resided in the United States for about 10 years. He is survived by his wife, the former Lucie LeBlanc; five sons, Claude of Germany, Normand and Roger, both of Waltham, Mass., Camilien of Florida, and Euclide Belliveau (Denise) of Pré-d'en-Haut and Mrs. David Kendall (Paulette) of North Chelmsford, Mass.; a brother, Raymond LeBlanc of Cormier Cove; five sisters, Mrs. Henri Gautreau (Dorinne) of Pré-d'en-Haut, Mrs. Herman Cormier (Aurélia) of Little Dover Road, Mrs. Léo Léger (Mini) of Waltham, Mrs. Pierre Léger (Marie) of Moncton and Mrs. Denis LeBlanc (Mélinda) of Belliveau Village; 13 grandchildren, and by a number of nieces and nephews.

The body is at the Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook. The funeral mass will be celebrated 2 p.m. Sunday from the Notre Dame de L'Annonciation Roman Cathoilic Church, Pré-d'en-Haut.
